This post, “N. O. Garden Show” was written for my WordPress blog called Always Growing by Jan in Covington, Louisiana
Tomorrow is the New Orleans Garden Show at the Botanical Gardens in City Park. I am supposed to go with my sisters and mother. I can’t wait. When I went to the fall show, I saw an ornamental grass that would be wonderful in my garden. Of course, my memory is gone, so I am hoping to find out what the name is. They have a nice display garden and plants not usually grown in the garden. I’ll be sure and post any purchases.
It should be a nice day with mom and the sisters. We get to look and shop for plants and have lunch together. With everyone being so busy nowadays, we don’t get together too often.
To those of you who are going to the Garden Bloggers Spring Fling in Austin, I hope you have a great time, great weather, and great fun.

Brenda, I know that I am lucky to still have my mom around (she’s 88 and in good health). After reading your blog, I realize how much I have to be thankful for having such great sisters. I’ll take pictures to show ya’ll.
