“Cleaning Up”, a copyrighted post, was written for my WordPress blog called Always Growing by Jan in Covington, Louisiana
We started cleaning up the yard and garden today. I raked and dear hubby is going to move the piles to the edge of our property. The local government is supposed to start next week coming around the neighborhoods to pick up the storm debris. After not sleeping well for the last few nights because of storm anxiety and working in the yard picking up everything that fell out of the trees, we are very tired and ready for bed.

You will be back to normal really soon.

I sure hope so, Donna. Things have been so messed up lately, I hardly know what day it is. But, by the weekend, everything should be settled back down.

I hope that you can relax a little now and get some much needed rest. Hanna is going to pay a visit to Nova Scotia on Sunday and I suspect we’ll be doing some raking of our own afterward. 🙂

Nancy, I hope you only get mild winds & rain from Hanna. As for us relaxing, I just saw the latest track of Ike. I don’t even want to think about that coming here.
