I would like to thank everyone who left such lovely messages about losing our sweet cat, Rusty. I appreciate the kind thoughts. I know there are worse tragedies in the world that grab your attention, so thank you again for taking the time to try and lift our spirits. Your comments do help.

Jan .. I am so sorry .. I didn’t know until now . I understand how sad you must be .. we have gone through such heart breaking loses a few years ago that I still weep over my Calico girls .. Molly moved all the way to Holland and back with us .. she was extraordinary in every sense of the word .. and sweet Lucy was a rescue kitten .. my heart still aches for them.
The pain will get a little more dull with each passing day but Jan .. it never goes away .. BUT .. it is coupled with wonderful memories to help you move through the grief.

Jan, I just now read about your Rusty and I am so sorry. Over the years, we’ve lost several loved and loyal furry friends, and I can just imagine how much your heart aches. It was so sweet to read how well-behaved Rusty was in the garden and with the birds. What a special kitty.

What a sweet kitty!
We and our cats send sincere condolences. How wonderful to have had such a special friend who also loved the garden. I know he is missed and his memory will be cherished. Rest in peace, Rusty.
